Hi Mark. I did exactly what you are doing a while ago. I'm also in the UK and, believe it or not at one point had three Sky boxes on a multi-room subscription all with the full subs package! It cost a fortune each month and hardly anyone watched it ! The chance to escape this "Sky Nightmare" came when I had fibre broadband to the premises installed. I went from 3MB (It's a bit rural where I am in the Midlands) on a good day to 900MB overnight. This made streaming possible at last. I was euphoric to say the least and ditched Sky immediately. I did exactly what you are doing now. Apple TV - NOW TV , Netflix Prime and Disney . It's a lot cheaper and neater too - no more ugly Sky boxes everywhere. I never missed the ability to record stuff or be able to pause live TV. Believe me you won't regret it.
